Milk Names Marianne Speight as Chief Business Development Officer and Executive Producer
Award-winning VFX studio Milk has announced the appointment of Marianne Speight as Chief Business Development Officer and Executive Producer. In this pivotal role, Marianne will lead the New Business and Bidding teams, working closely with the Group’s studios in London, France, Spain, and Ireland. Her main focus will be on securing new business opportunities and strengthening strategic relationships with major content partners across the industry. Additionally, she will collaborate with Milk’s production team to ensure the successful execution of various projects.
Marianne brings an impressive two decades of experience in global VFX production, bidding, and business development to the table. Previously, she served as Global Head of Bidding and Development at DNEG and was a VFX Producer at Scanline. She has also spent significant time at MPC, where she worked as a VFX Producer and New Business VFX Producer, managing large-budget VFX feature films. Her career journey includes her role as a VFX Producer at Peerless Camera Company, showcasing her extensive background in the field.
Her appointment comes on the heels of a highly creative year for Milk, during which the studio delivered a range of remarkable projects. Recent highlights include work on Neil Gaiman’s 'Good Omens 2', a thrilling seafaring action sequence for Warner Brothers' 'Meg 2: The Trench', Gerard Butler’s action film 'Kandahar', and the sci-fi hit series 'Citadel' for Amazon Prime. Earlier this year, Milk contributed to Sony/TriStar’s 'The Woman King' and Sally El Housaini’s 'The Swimmers' for Working Title and Netflix.
