Jellyfish Pictures Expands Operations to Canada

Award-winning VFX and animation powerhouse Jellyfish Pictures has just announced an exciting expansion into the Canadian market, launching its VFX operations in Toronto. This move comes on the heels of the company’s rapid global growth, including the opening of a new site in Mumbai, India, last year. With the Canadian film and television industry booming, Jellyfish is seizing the opportunity to tap into Toronto's pool of top-tier VFX talent.

Phil Greenlow, Managing Director of VFX, couldn’t be more excited: “Expanding into Canada is a thrilling step for us. Jellyfish Pictures has been on a roll, with recent VFX credits for major productions like 'The Creator', 'Asteroid City', 'The Gentlemen', and 'Constellation'. They also lent their expertise to Wes Anderson’s Oscar-winning short ''The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar''. Looking ahead, Jellyfish is gearing up for a stellar 2024 with projects like 'Lee', starring Kate Winslet, Netflix’s 'Kaos', and the much-anticipated fantasy series 'Nautilus'.
